My Kissjane vouchers worth $20!

Haha so happy to received such a gift out of the blue after so long I’ve written the post on ‘Shopping at KissJane’. I don’t know if Jason minds me posting his comment here again, but I think they won’t mind some free good publicity right? :)

After like 3 months, Jason found my post on KissJane and left this comment,

Okay.. I admit that my thoughts on their first day wasn’t really that great, so one would think that they wouldn’t be very pleased to read something like that right? Instead, they offered someone who wasn’t satisfied something better, so that she can be pacified. Haha What more can I say about that? Action speaks louder than words. And this, is pure action. It shows that they are serious in treating their customers right and take pride in providing a service. TQTQ!

I don’t know why I couldn’t find anything that day, maybe I’m too picky and the sizes are too large, which aren’t really their fault. Sigh.. But nevermind! I will put the vouchers to good use and get something pretty =D

Haven’t been able to settle to write stuff cuz I’m suffering from something like a cold, but minus the fever. Actually I still am having that stuffed nose and heavy head, but I haven’t blogged in so long so I felt a bit uncomfortable. Lol..

Met up with Mei and Priscilla yesterday, who was my rommie and hallmate respectively when I was staying in hall for year 1 of University. Wow it had been 2 years since we’ve seen Priscilla, and she hasn’t changed one bit. Still as bubbly and forever young, although a primary school teacher now. Haha had fun hearing about her cute students.

She brought us to La Mei Zi steamboat buffet in Bugis, which costs $18nett per person and you can have up to 4 types of soup base. We chose the salted veg, chicken, mala, and tom yum soup bases. Not bad, I should say, until the waitress topped up our soup and the taste sort of got diluted. But erm at least they don’t charge extra for wastage, which made us quite guilty, cuz we had alot of leftovers… Will not take so much food when I’m there again.

.

Then she brought us to Tom’s palette at Shaw Tower, a simple place with awesome homemade ice cream to boot. $4 for their larger cup, which can serve 2 flavours, ranging from lychee and rose, to longan red date. Haha so herbalicious; in fact that’s their selling point, ice-cream refreshing and soothing for the throat.

.

.

Haha obviously we were not so health-conscious to choose the herbal flavours, although they taste great (we know cuz we sampled). We chose Granny’s Favourite, which is a combination of malt (like horlicks), and chocolate; and Melt and Sizzle Berry and Chocolate Pops, which has pieces of chocolate that really pops and fizzles in your mouth! Haha interesting!

Greedy faces!

.

TWIST!

.

.

All that love for Tom’s Palette on the wall.

.

.

Can’t wait to go back and eat other flavours!! It was crazy cuz we were there at about 10pm, and there were still SO MANY PEOPLE queuing to buy their ice cream.
