[Food Review] Geylang Food Map: Delicious Duck Rice

This holiday has done some wreckage to my biological clock! I now sleep at 2 am, wake up at random timings like 5 or 6am, then go back to sleep again at 9am till about 12noon.

.

.

What do I do between 6 – 9am? I play Plants Vs Zombies or watch Greys Anatomy.

My mind is like an active bunny, jumping around and about. It just simply doesn’t want to take a rest. Even though my eyes are like begging me to close them, my brain is ordering them to open.

.

.

So one of the bad effects of waking up so late is that I have my first meal of the day REAL late, at 4pm. Sooner or later I’m going to get gastritis again. The worst thing is that I implicate Hammy’s meal time too, cuz we meet up to eat. Haiz.

Gotta get this problem fixed before school starts.

.

.

Anyway, Hammy brought me to eat Duck rice at a famous stall in Geylang Lor 35.

It’s called Sean Kee Duck rice and porridge.

.

.

The simple stall front, I find it interesting how it is placed right at the front, like you can even go behind the stall and see what the hawker is up to. Heh.

.

.

Duck, duck liver, braised peanuts, beancurd, and egg. All these and 2 bowls of rice for $12. Worth it?

.

.

The rice is super yummy! I swear I can eat it on its own. And the pipin’ hot soup is not like the MSG kind. It’s quite hard to find rice like this in hawker centers already, they usually just serve roast duck with white rice.

.

.

Oh, the chilli is good too!

.

.

We usually come here when we want good duck rice and this place never disappoints us.
