[Beauty Review] Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion in New NANO Formula

I’ve been a fan of Hada Labo ever since I got my first bottle of their SHA Hydrating Lotion, because it is simply perfect for my skin! When I find something that suits my skin completely, I stick to it. But, I need to thank Hada Labo for introducing a product from their Whitening range to me, because now I have another fabulous product to pamper my skin with! :D

Hada Labo sent their new Arbutin Whitening Lotion with Nano formula to me for reviewing, which I am SO so grateful for, because I’ve really seen a genuine improvement to the clarity and brightness of my skin after 3 weeks of application!

This new baby has 3 main benefits in one step. With Arbutin, Vitamin C along with Hyaluronic Acid, the whitening range allows users to gain fairer, moist and bright skin.

Arbutin and Vitamin C
Arbutin is extracted from natural bearberry plant and armed with effective whitening properties, it is used to enhance skin fairness and help fight dark spots. Dull skin is renewed to reveal clear, fair skin.
Vitamin C enhances the skin’s fairness and repairs dry, dull skin caused by exposure to sun’s UV rays.

My skin gets really dull when I do not have enough sleep, and it’s kind of depressing to wake up with lacklustre skin. Especially when age is catching up, having brighter skin can take years off your looks, which is something I hold on to dearly because I’m hitting quarter-life soon! Ever since receiving the product, I’ve been applying the whitening lotion twice in a day, morning and night. Application in the morning keeps my skin bright for the day, and application at night allows me to wake up looking perky and energised even though I might be feeling otherwise. Haha.

A comparison with the SHA Hydrating Lotion on the left, the Arbutin Whitening Lotion delivers whitening, hydration and brightening all in one product, which makes it really convenient. But I’ve realised that the whitening lotion is definitely less moisturising than the SHA Hydrating Lotion, so on some nights I apply the Hydrating Lotion after the Whitening Lotion. I really love the brightening effects of the Arbutin whitening lotion, but still has to rely on the SHA Hydrating lotion to keep my skin moisturised. These two products make up my Perfect x Simple and hassle-free skincare regimen! Both are so readily absorbed into the skin after some light patting.

Apart from the Whitening lotion, there are 3 other products in the whitening range that you might want to try. Products from this range are priced from $21.90 to $31.90 and available at Watson’s. ^^
