[Beauty Review] Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Moisture Milk SPF50 PA+++

A pretty package came with the courier man and it’s non other than the newly released Sunplay Skin Aqua UV moisture Milk! I was really excited to try out the product because I use sunblock on my face everyday, and it’s really hard to find one that is not greasy and plastic-smelling. I guess I can live with the smell, but my worst nightmare would be those kind that produces a shiny and oily surface after a few hours of use.

What a pleasant surprise to receive such a nicely packed package! :)

With high levels of UVA and UVB protection levels, the UV moisture milk provides long hours of broad spectrum protection. The more plus signs that comes with the PA ranking, the more protection from UVA rays that cause long term skin damage. It is also water proof and sweat proof. Besides giving you the best sun protection, it also promises to be an ideal make up base for your everyday use.

Skin Aqua contains Solarex-3, a revolutionary formula that provides 3 superior and comprehensive levels of UV Defense.
1) Long Lasting, Superior UV Protection: Advanced photo-stability with the highest UVA and UVB protection for long periods of safe sun exposure. UV rays are easily reflected away from skin.

2) UV Anti-ageing protection: Two powerful anti-ageing ingredients, RonaCare Ectoin (prevents early cell damage) and Antileukine 6 (marine algae extract), prevents pigmentation and wrinkles from surface to deep within. ***I love this feature!! Really need to start maintaining my skin at this age. Haha***

3) Intense Hydration (Dryness Protection): Super Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen & Vitamin E intensely hydrate and lock in moisture for long hours, so skin stays refreshingly moist.
***Packed with so many good ingredients!***
Furthermore, it is fragrance, colour, alcohol and oil free, and is suitable for all skin types. No worries about allergies or sensitive skin reactions!

20121213-161012.jpg My first impression of the moisture milk when I squeezed some onto my palm was how watery and light it was. In fact, when I tilted my palm, it almost dripped off my hand. Despite its claims to be oil free, it did look a little oily.

After application on the back of my hand, there was a sheen left by the UV milk, but shortly after, the sheen disappeared and my skin felt smooth and moist, as compared to the other hand that was not applied with the UV milk.

I’ve also used it on my face for the past few days, and I like it because it allows me to skip BB cream application and my skin feels less piled up and more breathable. So I just use the UV milk, concealer, loose powder and blusher, and I’m all ready to go! Perfect for days that I do not need so much coverage. After a whole day of wearing the UV milk, it doesn’t lose its sun protection function nor clog my pores. My only complain is that it doesn’t brighten the skin very much after application.

The SUNPLAY Skin Aqua range also comes with the Sunplay UV Mild Milk SPF25 PA++ and Sunplay UV Moisture Gel SPF25 PA++. They are available at Watsons, Guardian, Sasa, Unity and other major departmental stores.
