l have fallen sick! Haha sore throat, blocked/drippy nose, and a clouded head. (I’m literally writing this post with a tissue stuffed in my nose. Eww…) Despite this, I had to go for an interview assessment at my new job. I’m really excited to start, and I’m glad to say that I have passed the assessment and will be starting soon! I have chosen something that is not the norm, and many people have told me that it’s a tough gig, but I’m ready! Not gonna reveal what I’m doing yet, maybe next time :) BUT OF COURSE, I’m doing this because of Beary Naise. Nothing can stop me from continuing my own handmade business, for now. This job allows me the flexibility of managing my own work hours, and still give me a decent income. Of course there are cons, like it doesn’t provide a fixed income… We’ll see how it goes! :)
Here’s what I wore to the interview:
I got this dress for only $15 at a blogshop’s sale event! :D Comfortable, and it fits me without any alteration, which is rare. Paired it with my mustard shoes. They are made of suede and super soft.
So yes, I managed to survive the day, with the help of purple Strepsils throughout the interview. It works wonders! For fast relief, I always go for the purple Strepsils for its numbing effect.
When I got back, I rested awhile and shopped online for fabrics, which is both therapeutic and nerve-wrecking cuz I have to choose from so many beautiful fabrics!! I wish I lived in fabric heaven…
While I was resting, Hammy busied himself in the kitchen and cooked us some awesomely delicious Asparagus and Pesto Risotto! All that oozy goodness and hint of lemon juice. I’m so in love with this dish. More so with the person! Haha thank you hammy for making us dinner :) <3
