Spring and Summer 2013 at Levi’s is all about bright colours and florals. I think I’m pretty safe when it comes to dressing, preferring to opt for darker colours and plains. But once I picked out some of the floral and printed jeans at Levi’s Ladies, I fell head over heels in love with how fresh and different I looked! :D A colourful ensemble is a instant pick-me-up.
Here are two looks that I created with the Spring/Summer 2013 collection at Levi’s Ladies.
Look 1: Casual Girly
You can tell that I’m so madly in love with the dark blue blouse peppered with tiny flowers that I’ve chosen it for two looks. The first look is more casual, I chosen a very cute salmon pink jeans shorts! :) The blouse can be buttoned all the way, but I unbuttoned the bottom few to tie the two parts into a knot. I think it looks more special with the knot!
A closer look at the printed jeans shorts, isn’t it adorable? Never expected that Levi’s would come up with Jeans shorts, did you? But look at this, I love it so much! The material is durable, and it feels totally comfortable on the skin. A piece of quality work that I expect to be with me for a long long time.
Look 2: 80’s Sunshine Girly
I used to have a pair of bright yellow jeans (till I DIY converted them into a jeans skirt). Haha I felt really bright and happy when I wear them, but my friends felt otherwise. They said I looked like a banana! I guess people were still not very comfortable with super bright jeans, but it’s all changing now! There are bright floral, pale floral jeans, patterned pants coming up in collections all over fashion runways and Levi’s has several pairs of jeans that are in floral / bright colours!
For the second look, I matched the very cute blouse with a pair of super bright yellow jeans! You get an instant retro feel, like the 80’s where bright colours and prints reign. I don’t know why I just feel very comfortable in bright yellow. Haha Levi’s gives me a chance to express my inner self!
Blouse, Jeans, and wedges all from Levi’s! I could dance in this~!
Do vote for me if you liked my cheery and bright Levi’s Interpretation :D
