Come Join Sothys Mpower U – Rock Zumba For A Good Cause!

Sothys Singapore Zumba event

Hi ladies! I just want to highlight this event that I am attending in November, which is something close to my heart and an event that I am proud to be part of. It’s a Zumba Fitness session organised by Sothys Singapore in collaboration with Singapore Committee of UN Women.

It is a charity event and proceeds will be donated to them in support of their activities, such as empowering young at-risk women and victims of domestic abuse by encouraging them to lead a healthy, balanced and energetic lifestyle so they can achieve breakthrough results at work and at home.

In line with the new SOTHYS Sensitive Line (to empower skin with inner strength by balancing skin’s tolerance threshold), the range will be introduced and made available during the event.

Why this is a worthy cause…

Domestic abuse is something I feel deeply for. Because it happens behind closed doors, not many outsiders will understand or even try to understand what you’re going through. If anybody tries to interfere, abusers may also defend their ‘right’ to do as they please as it is their ‘family business’. Often, victims are left silent, scarred, traumatised, and helpless… be it physical, sexual, or verbal/emotional abuse. They may need a large amount of emotional support, psychological counselling, or financial support to get back on their feet and start living a life they deserve… and that’s where Singapore Committee for UN Women comes in.

The cause against domestic violence and abuse is a tough one, but a worthy one. Come join this event and connect with like-minded women, or just to learn more. Inspire, be inspired, and sweat out in a fun workout!

See you all lovelies at the event! Grab your BFFs, mom, sisters! :)
