Petite Style Haul // Minimalist, Feminine Elegance & Boho Chic

Hi ladies,

In my latest style haul from, I chose 3 pieces of clothing with pretty different feels. Being extremely petite, it is important to go for silhouettes that are flattering and not too overwhelming on my small frame. And for me being me, I would always go for the comfort factor – which I was very satisfied with.

Katong Red House // Minimalist Black Romper + Ankle Boots

Diem Black Crepe Romper | Adelle Crossbody Bag | Grey Suede Booties

This black minimalist romper easily checks all the boxes on my style list. Comfortable, fuss-free, and so chic! It has 2 side pockets, a hidden zipper, and an asymmetrical hem. It is also made from a substantial, luxe, crinkle-free fabric that makes it suitable to be worn for work, and fun enough for play after. I paired the romper with grey ankle boots and a crossbody bag for a casual weekend look. It exudes an understated youthfulness and energetic vibe that can attract a few head-turns.

Tiong Bahru // Wrap Linen Dress + White Heels

Elaine Linen Navy Wrap Skater Dress | Red Wristlet Pouch | Matte White Heels

The wrap dress undoubtedly brings out an elegant side in me. Everything about it is on point – the V-neckline, skater skirt, 2 hidden pockets, and the dainty ribbon tied to the side. The skater skirt helps to add volume to my straight narrow hips, giving me a more balanced silhouette. The linen material is down-to-earth, not too over-the-top. This dress is unlined, but the fabric is thick and dark enough to prevent see-throughs. A truly feminine and sophisticated piece that I see myself wearing to social events and dinner dates.

Stangee Place // Olive + Mustard Boho Chic

Arya Olive Shirt | Colourblock Mustard Tote | Mustard Suede Boots

Super laid-back, super carefree. As we all know, women decide with emotions, and this Olive top caught my eye because I was attracted to how comfortable it looked! With silky smooth fabric that flows with movement, and bell sleeves that flutter gently in the wind, this sexy number makes me feel like waving my arms around in a little dance every time. I specially adore its peekaboo lace-up front detail. I matched the outfit with jean shorts, mustard brown suede boots and a tote. The mustard adds a pop of bright colour while complimenting the earthy olive tone.

Well, which is your favourite? :)

Hi Zoe, I love all the outfits on you! I am also very petite and would love to purchase the items you have showcased on your blog. I am a bit worried about the fit of the romper and dress. What are your measurements and what sizes did you decide on?

    Thank you! Xoxo

Hi Jenn, thank you for your compliment! I chose xs for all sizes, and had to do a little alteration to shorten the bodices for both the romper and wrap dress to lift the waistlines. I have no choice because I’m too petite for even xs! I’m a usual H&M size 2. Hope that helps…
