I have two new products in my make up case that I love very much. The first is Braphy Lip Plumper, which I so gratefully received from Joyce’s Mary Chia Spa Party sponsored by Vanity Trove, and the other is Maybelline’s Long Extreme Stiletto mascara, whose review will be coming right up next!
Braphy Lip Plumper
I didn’t know that lip plumpers exist in a tube. I thought in order to get sexy Angelina Jolie lips, one would have to go for lip fillers, which mean injections!! :X But thank god for this lip product that’s sold over the counter, affordable and delivers results. Introducing Braphy Lip Plumper!
It has a really unique product design, featuring a back mirror with LED lights! So girls who need to touch up their make up in the dark can do so without worries. Haha so girls who go clubbing or drinking at night will find this very useful. Personally, I think I will use it when I need to find my keys in the bag. Haha.. anyway I really like the back mirror.
But, let’s check out how effective the plumper is!
It is said to smooth and fill in fine lines and help to build up on the contours of the lips, making them look fuller and younger! I think you can see the plumping effects clearer from the black and white photos.
Hmm someone once told me that my lips are not very nice to look at, which I didn’t notice until it was mentioned. I took a closer look. Undefined cupid’s bow, thin lips, wrinkly skin…. But that didn’t really bother me because I thought, why think about something that you can’t change? Haha.. I was young then and didn’t think of caring for my lips cuz I saw it as part of my mouth (which does its job well – EATING), but lips are really one of the first facial features that reveal signs of ageing. So now that I know better, I try to apply lip balm to moisturize my lips whenever I can.
I am really happy now for this lip plumping product. Unlike lip balm that gets rubbed away easily, it is stickier, thicker, and stays for a longer period of time. It also has a very sweet scent. And as you can see, the lines on my lips were reduced and upper lips appeared fuller. After applying, I’d feel as if my lips were plumped up and it actually makes me feel like smiling more. What is this sorcery?? Haha.
For me, it is a good alternative to lipsticks as they only amplify lines and cracks. It is really worth a try, and I think I will purchase it when mine runs out. :)
