Watched Harry Potter with Hammy at AMK Hub today, and felt really sad when the movie ended. I was kept transfixed by the development of the story, cuz there was so much magic (pun intended), and also because I didn’t read the last book beforehand. We were still speculating whether Harry died in the end, cuz we really didn’t know! Hehe *sheepish look* the storybook is too long!! I did feel the starting was a bit draggy and I had trouble trying to recall what happened in the previous movie..
Haha got some good stuff from Watson’s, I haven’t shopped for so long that I feel happy just buying toiletries from Watson’s. Tell me about a girl’s woes please.
But these are really good so I must share!
I’ve been using Rexona anti-perspirant for 2-3 months already, I think Shower clean is the best smelling. Haha And it’s the cheapest among the various brands of roll-ons, $2.50 only!
Really keeps me dry and sweat-free for the entire day even under the sun, plus it has a nice shower cream smell. I don’t even need perfume. Haha -_-!
Just bought and tried the Paul Frank cotton candy lip smackers today, and already loving it. It smells so deliciously sweet! I’m gonna use it everyday now, mustn’t misplace it somewhere like I did with all my other lip balms. Somehow they are so tiny and I lose them very easily. It’s comparably priced with other stick lip balms too, at $4.90.
I decided to get down to buying make up remover since my facial consultant ‘strongly advised with a stern look’ that I should use a proper one to remove the powder I put on my face. I haven’t been using make up remover cuz I thought my facial wash was powerful enough to clean off everything, and my mascara comes off with water and gentle rubbing.
Worse, I was using BB cream; my consultant gave a shocked face when I said that. She said that I have combination skin and shouldn’t be using BB cream as it’s too rich for me. I didn’t know that! I thought BB creams are good for the skin and pimples.. Zzz.. No wonder I get nasty breakouts and clogged pores.
My skin has gotten so much better after one session. Still not baby skin smooth, but pimples are gone!! Hehe non-edited. :O
And she also said that it’s important to use products that are suited for your skin. For eg, dry skin, normal skin, combination, and oily skin. The products I’ve been using don’t say which types they are for!! So this time I went to Watson’s I looked out for combination skin products, and Nivea is one of very few skincare brands that actually write specifically what skin types the product is suitable for. The others don’t even indicate.
Even make up removers are crucial cuz for combination and oily skin types, you can’t use oil-based removers. Actually quite common sense, but somehow I just never thought of it.
So I got this packet of wipes for $7.90, shouldn’t go wrong now. =) Plus it does a hell lot of other things like toning and moisturizing your face besides cleaning make up and grime away. Skin felt loved. Lol.
Then had dinner the Pastamania outlet at Northpoint. Hammy and I shared a Calzone. It’s becoming our favourite pizza dish! The crust is so much nicer than a real pizza’s cuz it’s so fluffy and chewy! Inside, chicken and basil
This outlet’s interior is also quite different from the plain rest.
Felt like I was out of the country for a meal. Haha. Cheap thrills.
