Went to have good food today at Serangoon Garden Market! It was my first time there and can’t believe I didn’t know of its existence. I thought Chomp Chomp was the only place at Serangoon Garden that boasts delicious hawker treats, but unbeknownst to me, there’s another hawker centre hidden behind the shophouses. I’m so suaku!
The guys went to buy food and I was happily taking photos, thrilled at discovering a ‘new’ place.
They took so long and I was crossing my fingers that at least they brought back some delicious food.
They didn’t disappoint me :)
Chicken feet and Beancurd skin.
I’ve never tried chicken feet! Hammy tried to psycho me that it’s very nice and easy to chew off the bones, but I don’t think I will ever be convinced! It’s not that I don’t dare to eat the skin – it’s not fatty, but the thought of the chickens running around in farms and stepping around on chicken poo is a huge deterrent for me to eat the feet. It’s like asking someone to eat pig’s paws or cow’s hooves (if they’re edible). :/ No way….
I realized that guys always look so serious when they are eating.
Look at the queue! But it was all worth it. Be sure to try it if you’re there :)
I explored the hawker centre and found that long queues are very common here.
These people are all queuing for currypuff! Walked closer and saw all the newspaper ravings about this particular stall. Apparently they are really good! A pity we didn’t get to try it this time. We must the next!
After lunch… We began walking to somewhere else, but I didn’t know where. So I just followed.
Whhaaaat? Why are the guys heading towards LSBs (Lup Sup Bars = Dirty bars)??
And that I will reveal in the next post X.x
