A couple staring into the cafe, unsure if they can enter without a pet.
Last Thursday, we stepped into Doggie-style Cafe at Nex! It is a pet cafe. All along we’d thought that customers need to bring pets to enter, and we don’t have any! So we’d always joke that Gerwyn should bring his hamster, or I can simply put a leash on Hammy and call him my pet. Haha all these things we think of just to get into Doggie-style Cafe.

But to our surprise, there is no need to bring any pets at all! The cafe serves human and pet food, so even if customers do not bring any pets, they can also order human food and play with other customers’ pets in the cafe.
For non-pet-owners, do you really really wish to have a pet but your parents do not allow? Or maybe you just want to play but not ready to take up the full responsibility of taking care of a pet yet. Come to Doggie-style Cafe!
For pet owners, here’s what Doggie-Style Cafe has to say:
The first pet cafe in Singapore Shopping Mall! We FEED, BATHE, SPA, and PET SIT your doggies for you, have party packages for you to celebrate special occasions in style, provides yummy food and drinks for Humans too!
We know how you feel about your pet. We understand that you want to provide your canine companion with the healthiest food for a long, happy life. We have a passion for dogs, and we want to share our knowledge. We fully explain each product and provide a complete list of all ingredients so you know exactly what you’re getting. Only fresh, high-quality foods and treats are sold here, and we can tell you the benefits of each product. We love our pets as much as you love yours.
Their menu is pretty extensive, ranging from pastas to pizzas, and desserts to even beer.
More pet food!
This was what we ordered, and I really enjoyed the food! Especially my two sausages and two scoops of mash potato, which looked a little provocative. Hehe yum! I think I will be back to have the Bratwursts again.

WAIT, what’s dining in an animal cafe without the stars?! Meet the ‘resident’ French Bulldogs, Tofu and Pickles. I think Tofu looks like James in Pan and James!!! Hahaha
They look really cute, but there’s a sad story behind both of them. Both were adopted by the owner of the cafe, Han Peng. Tofu was picked up from a pet’s boarding after her owners abandoned her. She was malnourished, and wasn’t toilet trained. She was covered in faeces when Han Peng picked her up. Pickles was found in the streets, with severe skin infection that caused a bad ear and eye. Han Peng spent thousands over dollars to get her treated and now she’s fine, except for a bad eye that she would scratch when people are not looking. That’s why she has to wear that plastic protector, to prevent her from scratching.
Tofu and Pickles
They are both healthy and happy dogs now. I was so sad when I heard their stories.. :'( Damn you, irresponsible dog-owners!!
*BLEAHHH* This is to the person who abandoned me!
Han Peng, owner of cafe. Look at what Tofu is doing.
We had a wild time at Doggie-style cafe! Especially the Hammy and Jeremy, who took the dogs out to the doggy playground nearby. Enjoy the photos and videos~ =) I took so long to upload them, must watch ok!

A beautiful picture of Pickles captured by Hammy. She’s really old, like about 70.
I’m still very very new to video editing, and still don’t know how to end videos properly. Pardon me! I will pick up more video-editing skills. =)
